Truly loved this episode! Not just saying it as a proud daughter but as someone who’s seen first hand how much she’s loves each one of her students. This is a topic that is not talked about enough, loved her story, loved the science behind behaviors and how it shapes them. I’m glad everyone can hear what my mom has to say and her experience. I remember even early on that she always treated her students as her own. Her classroom was always decorated from floor to ceiling in culture, bright and colorful, pictures from all over the world. Not just Hispanic but South American, African, Central Asian, etc. I remember everywhere we went is was always “oh my students would love this” wether is was a book in their language or dolls from their country or even little candies. It's disheartening that this isn’t the standard. They are humans and citizens, not aliens. After listening I realized why she always went and still does go above and beyond for representation of her students. Amazing job !!!
